Meet Brett Sachs

Brett Sachs is the founder of MVP Accident Attorneys, a personal injury law firm headquartered in Irvine, California. He represents accident victims across California who have been injured due to someone else's negligence. Sachs and his team handle car accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death cases, and catastrophic injury claims. Growing up in the Midwest, he moved to California following his wife and brought a slower, more thoughtful approach to client care. He specializes in single-event cases where another party's negligence caused injury, with car accidents making up the majority of his practice.

Brett Sachs graduated cum laude with honors from Michigan State University College of Law and moved from the Midwest to California to build a client-centered practice. Before law school, he attended Indiana University for his undergraduate degree. During law school, Sachs worked in a civil rights clinic where he represented prisoners in the Michigan Department of Corrections in actual court proceedings before graduating. This real-world experience gave him a head start on his legal career and taught him how to communicate with individuals in need. After moving to California, his first job taught him what not to do with personal injury clients. He then worked at a large personal injury firm in the intake department, tracking thousands of cases from start to finish and learning to identify successful patterns before founding MVP Accident Attorneys.

What Inspired Brett?

Sachs became a lawyer because he always wanted to help people and make a significant impact on their lives. Growing up in the Midwest, he was interested in law enforcement or government work but wasn't sure which path to take. After speaking with his father, a businessman who had a huge impact on who he became, the choice became clear. His father advised him to enter a profession that could help the average person directly rather than going into business. Law became the only option because it would give him both the ability to help people and the resources to do so on a larger scale. He found that personal injury law allowed him to make a significant impact on many people's lives in a very short period of time.

Mission & Vision

Sachs aims to change the landscape of personal injury law and eliminate the negative stigma behind higher volume practices. He wants to help consumers understand that just because a law firm advertises on billboards and TV doesn't mean they don't represent clients better than anyone else in the state or nation. His goal is to bring trust back to legal representation for personal injury and car accident victims across California and the nation. He believes clients have to trust who they hire because their entire case falls in the firm's hands, and if they're not living up to that trust each day, they've failed themselves and their clients.

Career History

Sachs graduated cum laude with honors from Michigan State University College of Law after completing his undergraduate degree at Indiana University. During law school, he gained real-world experience representing prisoners in the Michigan Department of Corrections through a civil rights clinic. After moving to California, his first job in personal injury and family law showed him what not to do with clients. He then worked in the intake department of a large personal injury firm, where he tracked thousands of cases from initial contact through resolution. This experience taught him how to evaluate cases, understand client needs, and identify systematic approaches that maximize results. He founded MVP Accident Attorneys to apply these lessons and create a firm that combines legal expertise with strong business operations.
