What Inspired Brett?
Brett Sachs became a lawyer to help people and make a significant impact on lives. Brett Sachs always wanted to work in an area that could help the average person. After speaking with his father, a businessman who advised him to enter a profession that serves people directly, law became the clear choice. Brett Sachs found personal injury law allowed him to help a large number of people in a short period of time.
Mission & Vision
Brett Sachs aims to change the negative perception of high-volume personal injury firms. His mission is to prove that a firm seen on billboards and TV advertisements can still provide superior client representation. Brett Sachs wants to bring trust back to legal representation for personal injury and car accident victims across California and the nation.
Career History
Brett Sachs moved from the Midwest to California after law school. His first job in California taught him what not to do with personal injury clients. Brett Sachs then worked at a large personal injury firm in the intake department, where he tracked thousands of cases from start to finish. This experience taught Brett Sachs how to evaluate cases and identify successful patterns. Brett Sachs founded MVP Accident Attorneys to apply these lessons and build a firm focused on client outcomes.

Practice Areas
Brett Sachs and MVP Accident Attorneys specialize in personal injury cases where another party caused the harm.
Car Accidents
Brett Sachs represents drivers and passengers hurt on California freeways including the 405, the 5, and the 91 through Orange County and the Inland Empire. Brett Sachs files claims under California's pure comparative fault rule, which lets injured drivers recover even when partially at fault. Photograph the vehicle damage, the roadway, and any skid marks before the cars are moved.
Slip and Fall
Brett Sachs represents people injured at California stores, hotels, and apartment buildings from Irvine to Sacramento. Brett Sachs builds premises cases under California Civil Code section 1714, which requires owners to use ordinary care to keep property safe. Save the shoes worn at the time of the fall and request the incident report before leaving the property.
Wrongful Death
Brett Sachs represents surviving spouses, children, and parents after fatal crashes across California, Florida, Texas, and Washington D.C. Brett Sachs files wrongful death claims under California Code of Civil Procedure section 377.60, which names the heirs entitled to recover. Gather the death certificate, the police report, and the decedent's recent pay stubs as soon as possible.
Pool Drowning Cases
Brett Sachs handles child drowning cases at HOA pools, apartment pools, and short-term rentals across Orange County, Riverside County, and Los Angeles County. Brett Sachs pursues claims under California's attractive nuisance doctrine and local pool fence ordinances that require self-closing gates and barriers at least 60 inches tall. Photograph the gate latch, the fence height, and any missing safety equipment the same day.
Product Liability
Brett Sachs represents consumers hurt by defective auto parts, household goods, and recalled equipment throughout California. Brett Sachs files strict liability claims under the rule from Greenman v. Yuba Power Products, which holds manufacturers responsible for products that fail in normal use. Preserve the product, the packaging, and the receipt before discarding any pieces.
Catastrophic Injuries
Brett Sachs represents clients with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord damage, and permanent disabilities across California and the firm's other licensed states. Brett Sachs builds life-care plans with treating physicians and economists to document future medical costs and lost earnings. Keep every medical bill, MRI, and therapy note in one folder from the first hospital visit forward.
Pedestrian and Bicycle Accidents
Brett Sachs represents pedestrians and cyclists struck on California streets including PCH, Jamboree Road, and the bike lanes through downtown Sacramento. Brett Sachs cites California Vehicle Code section 21950, which requires drivers to yield to pedestrians within marked and unmarked crosswalks. Request the 911 audio and any nearby business surveillance footage within 30 days before it is overwritten.
